Connare Tech is proud to announce the launch of www.kenrootart.com, the online home of artist Ken Root, Jr. The site showcases a series of unique wall sculptures called "Cityscapes," which tell captivating stories of industry and history from Ken's hometown of Buffalo, NY.
Connare Tech provided Ken Root with website design and layout expertise, building a site from the ground up to showcase and bring Ken's art to life on the 2-dimensional computer screen, and the company will continue to provide hosting and maintenance services for the site.
Ken hopes to add more sculptures to his online gallery as he continues to produce these Cityscapes and other original creations. He spent over 20 years in the commercial art field creating posters, brochures, magazine ads and illustrations, and he was a past president of the Graphic Artists Guild of WNY. Ken recently renewed an interest in sculpture art with the Herd About Buffalo public art project and the Art on Wheels project in Buffalo.
The site represents Connare Tech's continued commitment to Buffalo, NY where owner and founder Sanjay Connare began his work as an independent web and IT company in 2003. Ken's art brings awareness and appreciation for a city and its character which Connare Tech readily embraces.
"Ken's site was a perfect fit for us," explains Andrew Delmonte, Manager of Design and Multimedia at Connare Tech. "We loved the way his art tells a story about Buffalo and its heritage. It's the same story we started from. Though it seems simple at first glance, our design was meant to not detract from the life of the sculptures. There's not anything flashy or distracting. It's calculated simplicity."
Connare Tech was founded in 2003 as a one-man PC consulting firm. Since, the company has grown into a full scale web service and application development firm with six employees. Connare Tech prides itself on providing web applications including registration, scheduling and inventory systems that "just work," and the company caters to clients varying from independent mom and pop businesses and individuals to reputable institutions in the financial, art, and science-research industries. |
