Buffalo, NY - This past week, Connare Tech, Inc. completed an infrastructure overhaul, which brings faster, more energy efficient services to its clients, and promotes sustainable green business practices.
The company upgraded to a new server powered by dual quad core 2.13GHz X3210 processors with 4GB of memory and TB drives. These upgrades replace older equipment that previously housed Connare Tech's websites, the state-of-the-art Connare Tech Content Management Suite (ctCMS) and all of its other web applications. The transition allows Connare Tech to handle increased volume while using less energy at the same time.
Buffalo business Five Points Bakery's new website, one of Connare Tech's latest projects and part of the company's Local Commitment, has experienced record numbers of site visitors and bandwidth transfers since its launch. The success of this site and others will be preserved and continued through the new server's increased capacity.
The server transition also places Connare Tech's server at the cutting edge of sustainable green technologies. The server actually reverses its own environmental impact, as all of the servers at the data center are 130% wind powered. In other words, 130% of the energy needed to both power and cool every server in the facility is generated by wind turbines and purchased through certified Renewable Energy Credits.
Connare Tech's server is located in one of the top data centers in the US, regularly and independently audited to comply with industry best practice standards, including SAS 70 Type II and ISO 9000:2001. The data center allows Connare Tech to provide dedicated service with a 99.9% uptime guarantee.
Clients experienced no downtime during the infrastructure changes as the transition was made in real time with ample backup support.
